Menace of Using Blue Lights on the Vehicles

It is a common problem for all the vehicle users facing blue lights at night from the opposite direction. The VIPs and the VVIPs were using red beacons on top of their vehicles for a very long time and later on even the common people started putting on red beacons on their vehicles posing themselves as VIPs creating so much confusion. Ultimately the use of red beacons ended with a declaration made by the constitutional head of the state P.B. Acharya. I salute the Governor.

So far I have never ever heard a single word about the legality of using blue lights on the vehicles from anybody, rather everybody condemn and criticise about it and yearning for remedy. It is a very simple common sense that the users are too selfish and shameless; insensitive, causing so much inconveniences to other drivers. If the appropriate authority and department is trying hard to handle and control this menace, I beg apology. But as far as my knowledge goes, the concerned department and authority is not putting sufficient efforts to put an end to this menace. In my opinion it is high time for the so called elite class to set example first and the common people and laymen to follow suit.

By using blue lights at night we can never excel others but it is only showing our backwardness and uncivilised society. May the good sense prevail upon all of us
