Mega legal services camp held at Kiphire

Dimapur, Nov. 1 (EMN): A mega legal services camp, organised under the auspices of Nagaland state legal services authority (NLSA) and Kiphire DLSA in collaboration with government departments and other stakeholders was held at Kiphire town on Oct. 31 with Neiko Kanuo, registrar, Gauhati High Court, Kohima bench as special guest. Kanuo said he main objective of the camp is to educate and to let the people know about their own rights and benefits. He said that the people have the right to report or approach the legal services if anything happens. On the importance of the Lok Adalat, Kanuo said that every district has already established the panel law office in their own respective districts to give advice and help out the people in times of their need.
