Medical XI beat Morung United

Kohima, May 1 (EMN): Medical XI defeated Morung United 5-1 at Seikhazou ground, Kohima on Monday morning. Despite the win, Medical XI remained in 2nd place and 3 points behind All Blacks of the Morning League table. During the game, Medical XI found the net through Neiphre in the 17th minute through an assist from Kekhrie. Kenie added another goal for the Medical team in the 31st minute and 7 minutes later, Vinyu found the net to make it 3-0 in the first half. Vinyu piled up the pressure for Morung as he assisted a goal for Neiphre to score another goal in the 57th minute to make it 4-0. Lithung scored a consolation goal for Morung United in the 70th minute. But the game was not over for Medical XI, as they started their counter attack and managed to score another goal in the 79th minute, as Kekrie scored another goal through an assist from Neiphre to finish the game 5-1.
