Medical camp held at Lazami village

Kohima, August 13 (EMN): A medical camp was organised on August 12 at Lazami village under Pughoboto division. During the event 14 doctors, 17 nurses, and a team of laboratory technicians assisted at the medical camp. Updates on Sunday informed that around 680 patients were treated.
Free medicine and some equipment for the handicapped were given away during the event, it was informed.
The camp was informed to have been initiated by retired principal director for the department of Health and Family Welfare Dr, Sukhato A Wotsa. He is also the proprietor of Faith Hospital.
In a short speech at the camp, Dr Wotsa thanked God for good health and the blessing bestowed upon him and asserted that as a doctor it was his duty and responsibility to help patients. He assured to serve the people not only as a doctor but ‘in whatever capacity on public demand in future.’
