Dimapur, June 8 (EMN): Awareness cum medical camp was conducted for People with Disability (PWD) on June 8 at Civil Hospital, Mon.
Deputy Commissioner, Mon, W.Honje Konyak while speaking on the programme said that much attention have to be given to all the disabled persons in the district and it should not only be left to the parents of the disabled but all people should work hand in hand with sincerity. Honje said that such awareness cum medical camp will help many people with disabilities in the district and such programme should be organised even in the days to come.
Dr. Atha Vizol, Commissioner for Disability; Kapochu-o Naleo, General Secretary of Nagaland Parents Association for Disable (NAPAD); Bendanginla Imsong, assistant treasurer of NAPAD; Tongpang L. Jamir, coordinator of State Nodal Agency NAPAD; Dr. U.K. Konyak, CMO Mon; Dr. Kechongol Sopie, MS Mon; parents and disable persons attended the programme.
The programme is being organised by partner department; Commissioner for Disability, Social welfare, Health & Family Welfare and District Administration, Mon. The medical camps will continue till June 10.
