MDVA donates for procuring TrueNat cartridges

Mokokchung, June 18 (EMN): In a gesture of support towards the district task force in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA) donated INR 50,000 for procurement of TrueNat machine cartridges in the district.

The monetary assistance was handed over to the deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir, by MDVA president Imtipokyim in the former office’s chamber on June 18.

While appreciating the tireless efforts and various initiatives undertaken by state government and the district task force for Covid-19 Mokokchung led by DC to fight against the contagious virus, MDVA officials said that the donation was made through the contribution among the members and as part of its year-long silver jubilee celebration.

The MDVA also assured its support to the district task force in overcoming the challenges during this unprecedented crisis.

Senior MDVA member, Lima Aier, regretted that many sports activities in the district could not be organised because of the pandemic. He, however, assured that sports activities would resume after overcoming the pandemic.

DC Mokokching, who is also the chairman of Mokokchung District Sports Council, has assured reviving the sports activities in the district.
