After thorough deliberations and taking into account the hike in fuel prices and maintenance cost of vehicles, Mokokchung District Price Control Committee (MDPCC) has revised hiring charges from Mariani and Longtho to Mokokchung. The organization met on September 5 and decided the revision.
The charges are:
From Mariani to Mokokchung: (a) For carriage of 9 (nine) M/T full hire — Rs.11, 000/- (b) For carriage of mixed load — Rs.1.40/- per Kg (inclusive of loading charge).
From Longtho to Mokokchung: (a) For carriage of 9 (nine) M/T Full hire – Rs.10, 000/- (b) For carriage of mixed load– Rs.1.40/- per Kg (inclusive of loading charge).
Deputy Commissioner and the MDPCC Murohu Chotso in an order said the revised rates will come into force with immediate effect.
