Dimapur, Aug. 28 (EMN): The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) Trophy will be played from Oct. 9 till the 29th at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
The MDFA issued a press release through its general secretary and tournament secretary on Tue. Aug. 28.
The press release stated that new club registration and renewal affiliated under the MDFA is to be done by Sep. 8 from 3kit Photo House, Alongmen ward.
In order to promote local players, only four non-habitant (non-indigenous) players of Mokokchung district will be allowed to play in a team.
The MDFA tournament will carry a total prize money of INR 3, 90,000, added the press release.
