MDFA match for Thursday suspended

Suyim, Dilong shave off draw Dimapur, October 20: A Thursday match between Sports Society Suyim and Dilong Youth Association at the Mokokchung District Football Association Trophy shaved off a draw of 1-1 following which the match was suspended. Reports reaching here stated the match was called off following a dispute over an unspecified appeal.In the match, Suyim took the first goal after securing a penalty during the first half. However, Dilong erased it with the equaliser at 18 minutes. The equalizer came though a flag kick which a header landed. The first half was a draw. However, during the second half, the match was suspended over the teams disputing an appeal, which was not specified by the reports at the time of filing this new report.
