Dimapur, Nov. 9 (EMN): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has reiterated and reaffirmed its earlier public declaration that business establishments in Mokokchung district shall not undertake ‘shop registration’ with any Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs). A press release issued by the MCCI president Tsukti Longkumer and general secretary Limalenden Longkumer, stated that the resolution was made during the emergency general meeting held Sep. 7. The MCCI mentioned that as resolved and declared earlier, the business community of Mokokchung shall not entertain collection of any kind of donations or illegal taxation by any government or non-governmental agency or groups/individuals. “This public declaration is being made once again as it has been brought to the notice of the MCCI that certain unscrupulous elements inimical to people’s interest are trying to contravene the MCCI resolution of September 7” stated the release.
