Dimapur, Jan. 24: In view of the Republic Day celebration of January 26, Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) has directed all the business establishments and shops to remain closed on the day till the formal function is over. It also requested all the business community under the aegis of MCCI to attend the function at lmkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
MCCI president, Tsukti Longkumer and general secretary, Limalenden Longkumer , informed that it has been brought to the notice of the MCCI that there are certain group(s) delivering demand notes to shops and businesses in Mokokchung. Therefore, all the members of MCCI were asked not to pay any tax or donation to any group without the knowledge and consent of MCCI office.
