DIMAPUR — A mass social work was conducted by the Forest department, Dimapur, under the leadership of the district forest officer at Accupressure Stone Park, Supermarket in Dimapur on Saturday.
According to a press release, the Dimapur District Auto Driver Union, led by president Tito, and the Tenants Business Welfare Association, Supermarket, led by president Pukhaho Yepthomi, both contributed.
The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), under CEO Thungchabemo Tungoe, and BSNL staff, led by the general manager, also participated, along with some labourers. The Development Authority of Nagaland was involved as well.

It mentioned that the idea for this mass social work, aimed at the betterment of society, was initiated by Zhaleo Rio, Advisor for the Urban Development Department and Municipal Affairs.
The supervisors for the mass social work were Ronika Miachieo, an environmentalist, and Amos Ezung, chief manager for waste management, DMC.
