Martyrs Trophy: Viphoma M17 FC, Seiyhazou Hill Boys FC, and Khuzama enter second round

(EM Images)[/caption] Our Correspondent Kohima, Sep. 29 (EMN): Viphoma M17 FC, Seiyhazou Hill Boys FC, and Khuzama Youth Organisation won their respective matches and entered the second round of the ongoing 19th NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy here at the Kohima local ground on Saturday. Viphoma M17 FC beat Nagaland University Kohima Campus by a solitary goal. The winning goal was scored by Seyievilie Mere in the 40th minute. Up next, M17 takes on Kigwema Students Union on Oct. 8. While, Thepfuneilhou Theünuo scored a hat-trick as Seiyhazou Hill Boys FC overcame Phezoucha Youth FC, New Secretariat 4-2 in the second match. Kevisa-u Zumu of Seiyhazou Hill Boys FC opened the account for his team in the 8th minute. Thepfuneilhou Theünuo scored thrice in the 51^st, 55^th, and 87th minute in the second half to become the sixth hat-trick scorer of the tournament. Meuse Limbu scored twice for Phezoucha Youth FC, New Secretariat in the 63minute and converted a penalty in the 70th minute but it was not enough for the team as SHBFC held on for the win. Seiyhazou Hill Boys FC will clash with Saptiqa FC Zunheboto in the next round on October 8. In the last match of round one, Khuzama Youth Organisation thrashed Golden Tornadoes FC 8-0. Menguse Sale scored a hat-trick, while Zevito Khizho and Kezhose Khizho contributed two goals each and Khrievi Thaprü scored a goal to finish the game. Sale became the 7th hat-trick scorers of the tournament. Khuzama Youth Organisation will play against Young Kickers FC on Oct. 9.
