Martyrs’ Trophy: Jotsoma Youth Organisation and Centurion FC enter pre-quarters

Kohima, Oct. 1 (EMN): Jotsoma Youth Organisation (JYO) outclassed DEF Kohima 1-0 in the first match of the day during the ongoing NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy at the Kohima local ground on Tuesday, October 1. With the win, JYO advance to the pre-quarter final.

Both the teams played equally well and were locked in a goalless draw after the first half. However, after the breather, Akhozo Medoze sealed the game for JYO in the 75th minute.

Jotsoma Youth Organisation will take on MTYO, Medziphema on October 5 at 12:30 pm.

In the second match, Centurion FC blanked Zodic FC 2-0.

Yhunshalo Kemp of Centurion FC scored the first goal in the 22nd minute followed by a second goal in the 28th minute.

Vikethozo Zhotso of Centurion FC and Hrüyio of Zodic FC were cautioned with a yellow card.

With the win, Centurion FC will take on Phezoucha Youth Organisation on October 7 at 12:30 pm.
