Martyrs’ Trophy: Centurion FC enter final

(EM Images)[/caption] Our correspondent Kohima, Oct. 16 (EMN): Centurion FC entered the final of the 20th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2019 after defeating Medziphema Town Youth Organisation (MTYO) 1-0 on Wednesday at Khuochiezie, Kohima local ground. In the semi-final match played between Centurion FC and MTYO, Hanglen scored the lone goal of the match in the 11^th minute to put his team in the final. MYTO pressed to equalise the score but could not break through the solid defence of their opponents. The defending champions will now play against the winner of the match between MVYO Meriema and Viswemi FC in the final. Vikethozo and Syiekhrietuo of Centurion FC, and Neithovilie of MTYO were awarded yellow cards during the match. Gregory Thejawelie Sote, DC Kohima, was the patron of the match. The final of the tournament will be played on Saturday, October 19 at Khuochiezie, Kohima local ground. TODAY’S MATCH MVYO Meriema vs Viswemi FC at 1:30 pm.
