Manipur Staff Selection Commission launches official website

  • IMPHAL — In a significant move towards digital governance, the official website of the Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) — http://manipurssc.mn.gov.in—was formally launched in Imphal on Monday.

  • With this launch, Manipur joins a growing list of states embracing digital solutions to enhance public service delivery and governance.

  • Manipur Chief Secretary Prashant Kumar Singh; Chairperson  of Manipur Staff Selection Commission, T Ranjit Singh; MSSC Secretary Dr. Rangitabali Waikhom and other officers of the commission, besides Managing Director  of M/S CubeTen Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Haobam Joyremba were present during the launching programme.

  • The platform, developed by CubeTen Technologies, aims to streamline the state's recruitment processes and enhance transparency.

  • Speaking on the occasion, the chief secretary said that the state government has set up the commission to streamline the recruitment process of the subordinate services/posts to the government departments, organisations and autonomous bodies, semi-government organisations etc., and to ensure that uniformity and transparency is maintained in the conduct of examinations.

  • Singh congratulated the commission for launching the website which will enable aspiring candidates to obtain all examinations and recruitment related information easily.

  • The MSSC chairperson informed that the commission is committed to the general public and will ensure that the commission will function with transparency, fairness, and efficiency.

  • The launching of the website is a step forward in the right direction of embracing the latest information technology to make the commission fully functional. The website will be useful and informative for the general public.

  • The commission has already onboarded an e-office filing system, thereby providing an effective, efficient and transparent digital workplace.

  • The MSSC is fully committed towards fulfilling the commission’s core guiding values viz. ‘Perseverance, honesty and dignity’ as enshrined in the commission’s logo, and to become the repository of trust and faith of thousands of unemployed educated youths in the state, he said.

  • The newly launched website serves as a comprehensive portal for job aspirants, offering features such as online applications wherein the candidates can submit applications for various state government positions directly through the portal.

  • In addition, users will receive real-time notifications such as timely updates on job postings, examination schedules, and results. The platform will also facilitate the submission and verification of necessary documents, reducing the need for physical submissions.

  • It also features examination resources, including access to syllabi, previous question papers, and preparation materials to assist candidates in their exam readiness.

  • Further, the site is optimised for mobile devices, ensuring accessibility for users across various platforms.

  • “The launch of the MSSC website marks a pivotal step in our commitment to transparent and efficient recruitment. By leveraging technology, we aim to provide equal opportunities and streamline the selection process for all aspirants,” the chief secretary added.

  • The MSSC will utilise the platform to conduct examinations, publish results, and manage candidate databases, thereby reducing administrative overhead and expediting the recruitment cycle.
