Imphal, March 25 (EMN): To increase the total study time of children during dark hours and prevent them from exposure to pernicious emissions from predominantly kerosene-burning wick lamps, Manipur minister of Tribal Affairs and Hills, Vungzagin Valte, today distributed subsidised led solar study lamps to students in Churachandpur town.
Valte also launched the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign T-shirts during the event held at YMA Hall, Hmuia Veng, Churachandpur, about 70 km south of Imphal. The event was jointly organised by the district administration and Zonal Education Office, Churachandpur.
