Manipur Governor felicitates NCC cadets

  • IMPHAL — Manipur Governor, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on Tuesday felicitated National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, who have participated in this year’s Republic Day Parade in the national capital.

  • In a felicitation event held at Raj Bhavan Imphal, Bhalla presented laptops to associate NCC officer, T Bobby Singh; senior under officer, Y Umesh; and senior under officer, Oinam Reena Devi, as a token of appreciation for their exemplary dedication, discipline and service.

  • Praising their achievements, the governor expressed confidence in their potential as future leaders and responsible citizens. He also commended their commitment and reaffirmed his dedication to youth empowerment, disciplined, responsible and civic-minded citizens, acknowledging the vital role of young citizens in the state’s progress and security.

  • In another development, representatives of Rashtriya Raksha University led by its director in-charge, Avinash Kharel, called on the governor at Raj Bhavan in Imphal and briefed him on the university’s efforts to expand academic outreach and boost enrolment among young aspirants from Manipur.

  • The delegation highlighted the university’s mission and its growing role in nation-building through education in security and policing.

  • The governor has appreciated their efforts and urged continued focus on inclusive student engagement from Manipur.
