Imphal, Feb 17: For the first time in Manipur, a tripartite agreement about purchasing power was signed among Solar Roof Top Power Voltage –Plant (SRTPV-Plant), Manipur State power Distribution company Limited (MSPDCL) and Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency (Manireda) at the conference hall of Old secretariat here on Friday.
The agreement was signed in presence of Chief Secretary O Nabakishore. The ceremony was organised by the Manipur State power Distribution Company (MSPDC). Speaking at the occasion, Nabakishore said the project was a great initiative taken up by the MSPDCL and that it would promote green energy consumption. It is high time to create awareness among the people so that saving energy can be made possible, he said.
