Manipur declares HSLC exam results

Imphal, July 31 (EMN): The Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) declared the results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2021 at the BoSEM office in Imphal on Saturday. BoSEM this year recorded a 100% pass percentage.

A total of 47,208 candidates including 23,956 male and 23,252 female enrolled and appeared in the HSLC examination 2021 and all of them passed the examination following necessary assessments of the candidates by the respective schools in consultation with the BoSEM authority.

Though there is no list for the first 25 rank holders as in the previous years, altogether 22,323 candidates passed in the first division while 21,079 in the second division. A total of 3806 candidates passed in the third division.

Among those who passed the examination, 32,469 candidates are from the private schools while 12,562 are from government schools. The remaining 2177 candidates are from Government Aided Schools. Imphal West district has the maximum number of students/candidates (9479) passed in the examination this time while Tamenglong/Noney has the least number of candidates (2215).

Manipur Education Minister, Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh along with Commissioner (Education),M Harekrishna, Director (Education), L Nandakumar, BoSEM Chairman, A Joykumar along with other official of BOSEM and Education department were present during the formal announcement of the examination results in Imphal.
