IMPHAL — In light of the cold weather and the upcoming festival and new year, the Manipur government has declared an eight-day holiday for all schools in Manipur, beginning December 23 and ending December 30.
On Thursday, the Director of Education (Schools), L Nandakumar Singh, informed this in a notification.
Despite having regular sunshine for the past week, Manipur has begun to experience cold weather. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati, the temperature dropped to 7.7 degrees Celsius in Imphal on Tuesday.
