[caption id="attachment_273603" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Bobby Waikhom flagging off the cultural team for Japan in Imphal on Wednesday.[/caption] Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 25 (EMN): A 10-member Manipur cultural team has left Imphal for Japan on Wednesday, for their performances at various cities of Japan apart from participation in the Namaste India, the biggest affair of Indian festival in Japan from September 26 to October 11. Commissioner Bobby Waikhom of Arts and Culture department flagged off the cultural team from the premises of the Government Music College at palace gate in Imphal. The cultural team which include four male and five female students of Government Dance College will perform at Kariya City, Aichi prefecture, Niigata city, Kyoto city, Tsuruga City and Osaka during their stay in Japan. Manipur arts and culture Minister L Jayentakumar and Director (arts and culture) A Shivadas Sharma will also attend the festival along with three dance teachers.
