Manipur CM, ministers attend NEC golden jubilee

Imphal, Dec. 18 (EMN): Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh along with his council of ministers and MLAs on Sunday attended the golden jubilee celebration of the North Eastern Council (NEC) in Shillong.

The event was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers and chief ministers of all Northeast states.

Sharing a photograph of the event in Shillong in a tweet today, Biren Singh wrote, “50 years of trust and sharing! Attended the golden jubilee celebrations of the North Eastern Council (NEC) that marks the significant contributions of the Council to the socio-economic development of the North Eastern region.”

Sharing photographs of Manipur ministers and MLAs attending the event, Singh in another tweet wrote, “Hon’ble Ministers, MLAs, BJP officials, and other esteemed dignitaries from Manipur were a part of the power-packed gathering at the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the North Eastern Council, during which Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji Ji launched several developmental projects.” Later, sharing a group photograph of Manipur delegation, he wrote, “Besides attending the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the NEC, we are here today to celebrate the achievements, growth, and development made so far in the region under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri@narendramodi ji Ji, and Hon’ble Union Home Minister, Shri @AmitShah ji.”
