IMPHAL — Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on Monday launched processed food products of Manifresh brand under the value chain marketing of quality local horticulture products through brand building initiatives.

Launching the products at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Imphal, Biren said Manipur is going through a hard time but ‘we have to continue working towards development’.

We will face crises, and at the same time we cannot cease developmental works, he said, adding that the government has set up cold storages in the state.

Highlighting the implementation of Vocal for Local in Horticulture department and TRIFED in Forest department, he stressed the assistance provided to the various individuals and Self-Help-Groups (SHGs) under these missions and schemes.

Expressing satisfaction over the improvement in packaging, he said local products are being exported today.
