IMPHAL — Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Friday chaired a high-level review meeting at the New Civil Secretariat in Imphal, marking the first such meeting held at the new complex.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Puneet Kumar Goel, Director General of Police Rajiv Singh, Security Adviser Kuldiep Singh and Commissioner (Home) N Ashok Kumar.
Sharing photographs of the meeting on X, the chief minister said discussions focused on key aspects of administration and governance, with emphasis on strengthening peace, ensuring stability and accelerating inclusive development in the state.
“Held comprehensive discussions on key aspects of administration and governance, with a clear focus on strengthening peace, ensuring stability, and accelerating inclusive development in Manipur. Reiterated our collective commitment to responsive governance and the welfare of every citizen,” he stated.

No official details of the deliberations were released to the media.
Meanwhile, security forces recovered arms and ammunition from Molcham village under Molcham Police Station in Chandel district on March 19. The items recovered included an AK-47 rifle with two magazines, a 9mm carbine machine gun with magazine, two grenades, two grenade detonators, magazines of different arms, 194 rounds of ammunition, and five Baofeng VHF radio sets with USB chargers.
Security forces also arrested an active cadre of the UPPK from Mantripukhri area in Imphal East district on the same day.
In a separate operation, Manipur Police arrested one individual from Thangal Bazar in Imphal West district on March 17 and seized 56,216 SP capsules along with a mobile phone.
