Imphal, April 1 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh virtually attended the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022, an annual event since 2018, wherein Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents on Friday.
Modi interacted with school students, parents and teachers in a town-hall interactive format at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi from 11 am onwards.
Speaking to reporters after the event, Singh appealed to the students and parents to follow the innovative ideas and suggestions initiated by the prime minister to move forward.
Appreciating the PM’s innovative ideas of giving educational awareness to the students, teachers and guardians, he said the new initiative will help in developing independent thinking in the young minds.
Altogether, 200 students and their teachers from six different schools of Imphal East and Imphal West districts attended the event. The event was also live telecasted for students and teachers at various schools located in different parts of the state.
Education minister, Yumnam Khemchand, Public Works minister, Konthoujam Govindas, Education (S) commissioner M Harekrishna, Education (S) director L Nandakumar and other officials attended the event in Imphal.
