Man rescued by police in Dimapur dies at hospital
DIMAPUR — An unidentified non-Naga male, aged about 45–50 years, who was rescued by the police personnel of West Police Station on March 29 and admitted at District Hospital Dimapur, died on March 31.
According to an update, the telephonic information about his death was received from the District Hospital Dimapur at around 11:31 am. Accordingly, the police personnel on duty rushed to the hospital. He was earlier found lying unconscious near JB Diesel Shop on March 29 at around 3 pm.
The man was wearing a blue T-shirt, khaki long pants, and black tabis tied around his waist. His height was approximately 5 feet 4 inches. The deceased’s body was placed in the morgue for identification. An inquest examination was performed on the body, revealing no signs of foul play during the inquest.
