Man dies in bike accident

Our Correspondent Mokokchung, Nov. 25 (EMN): A 26-year-old man met with a fatal accident on Monday after his motorcycle skidded and plunged into a cliff at Changki village, 45 km away from Mokokchung town. The chairman of Changki village council informed that the incident occurred at around 2 pm. The victim, accompanied by a pillion rider, was travelling to Longnak via NH- 702(D) (Mokokchung- Mariani road) when the accident took place. The pillion rider narrowly escaped the fall. However, the rider plunged 100 metres into a cliff and died on the spot, it was informed. The deceased has been identified as Moatong Changkiri, a resident of Dimapur.
