Dimapur, September 23 : Mangkolemba Ao Lanur Telongjem (MALT) has resolved to lock up/seal the SDEO office Mangkolemba from September 28 until its demand to appoint a Head Assistant in the office is met and also warned that it will not take responsibility for any eventuality whatsoever.
In an open letter to the Chief secretary, MALT president Imjong Longkumer and assistant general secretary Tinuniken Langu today reminded that the MALT had submitted a memorandum to him through ADC Mangkolemba on July 4, 2016 demanding a Head Assistant in the SDEO office in Mangkolemba latest by July 18, 2016.
However, it lamented, no Head Assistant has joined the SDEO establishment Mangkolemba.
The MALT also stated it had already made various appeals to Parliamentary Secretary, School Education, Commissioner and Secretary, School Education and Director of School Education, Nagaland in this regard.
The MALT has also picketed the SDEO office on July 4, 2016 to press for its demand, the letter added.
