Dimapur, Nov. 6 (EMN): State Governor has recommended transfer and posting in the Police Department with immediate effect.
A press release issued by the State Home Commissioner, Abhishek Singh, stated that L Singsit, ADGP (Admn) will hold additional charged of ADGP (L&O), while PF Zeliang, IGP (Hq) will hold an additional charge of ADGP (Admn) and I Toshitsungba Aier, Commandant General (HG/CD), has been posted as IGP (HQ). Liremo Tsopeo, DIG (R), will hold additional charge of IGP (Training and Border).
In another notification, Imsusangba Sangtam, Commandant of Village Guard, has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police. He will be posted as DIGP (IR) North.
The Governor has also recommended posting of Vekhosa Chakhesang, Commandant of 4th NAP Battalion, as the Superintendent of Police (SP), Kohima; while Raguramarajan A, SP of Longleng, has been transferred as SP of Mokokchung; Neiba Newmai, Commandant of 6th NAP Battalion, as SP Tuensang; Naieem Mustafa Mansury, Assistant Commandant of 8th NAP Battalion, as SP Phek; T Uniel Kichu, Assistant Commandant 6th NAP Battalion, has been transferred as SP Zunheboto; Imnalemsa, Assistabt Commandant 7th NAP Battalion, has been transferred on promotion as SP Kiphire; Sh. Bharat Laxman Markad, SDPO Tuensang, has been transferred on promotion as SP Wokha; Sh. Manoj Kumar, SDPO Pfutsero, has been transferred on promotion as SP Peren; Vechipa Vise, DCP-I, Dimapur, has been transferred as SP Mon; Joseph Hesso, SP Kohima, has been transferred as SP Longleng; and K Swarnambika, SDPO Mokokchung, has been transferred on promotion as SP PHQ.
The order stated that handing and taking over of charge should be completed within two days from the date of issue of this notification.
