Dimapur, Feb. 1 (EMN):
A fire broke out at a stationery godown near St. Mary's Montessori  Hr. Sec. School, Church road in Dimapur on Monday evening.

According to assistant sub-inspector of  Fire Station (Central), Niamlungpou Gonmei,  the fire broke out at the top floor of a building where stationery goods were stored. He said that they received the call at around 4.51pm and were able to douse off the fire within 30 minutes.

Timely intervention of fire personnel, two fire brigades from central fire station and one from west fire station, controlled the fire outbreak and prevented it from further spreading to adjoining areas.
