Students who have already received their scholarship under the centrally sponsored post-matric scholarships for Scheduled Tribe students for the Directorate of High Education for the year 2010-2011 are asked to submit an attested photograph of their personal bank passbook, its front page only. A note received here today from the Higher Education directorate said that the copy must be accompanied by details of the students such as name of the student, his college, the institution of studies during 2010-2011, its course and class, and indicate whether he was a day scholar or a hosteller.
This is for “payment of maintenance allowance arrear directly to their respective bank accounts,” the directorate stated. The students are requested to submit the required documents and details to the Scholarship section of the Directorate of High Education in Kohima on or before December 15. Failing to do, that undisbursed fund would be deposited into the government’s exchequer, the directorate stated.
