Main contribution to the society is from youths — Iralu
Kohima, Dec. 12 (EMN): Nino Iralu, Secretary (Judicial) of Law and Justice department, called upon the youth to be vibrant, creative and responsible leaders to impact the society and bring about social reforms.
She was speaking as the guest of honour during the 48th annual day programme of New Market Youth Organisation (NMYO), at the panchayat hall of New Market colony on Saturday evening in Kohima.
“The main contribution to the society is from the youths,” she said.
She also stressed on having ‘strong moral values’ while reminding the youths not to neglect the need to excel in various fields to have “maximum impact”.
“The youths are the strength of our society, the face of the future. Youths are therefore the force, the hope and the leaders of tomorrow,” Iralu said, who is also the former president of NMYO.
During the programme, NMYO reports were presented by Vitseituo Khezhie, Mhashilenuo Solo and Khrüküsolü Nyusou.
