LYOC to hold Miss Tokhu pageant contest

Commemorating its premiere festival ‘Tokhu Emong,’ Lotha Youth Organisation Chumukedima (LYOC) has announced to organise Miss Tokhu on November 6 at Chumukedima Town Hall from 4:30 PM onward.
Miss Tokhu contest will form an integral part of the “Tokhu Youth Fest” which will be held from 1 PM on the same day. It is for the first time, LYOC is organising such contest with an aim to promote culture and provide platforms for young women to enhance their passions.
The grooming session for the contestants is underway. The contestants will be judged through three rounds namely ethnic, casual and evening rounds. The subtitles will be categorised as Miss Congeniality, Miss Flawless Skin, Miss Photogenic, Miss Best Ethnic wear.
