Dimapur, July 29 (EMN): Longleng Town Students’ Union (LTSU) on Thursday sealed the office of Airtel telecom in Longleng town. The sealing of the Airtel office was necessitated due to the alleged indifferent attitude of the company despite repeated appeals to rectify the poor internet service.
In a press release, LTSU executive chairman T Yingnyu Mosa, claimed that the union had, on July 15, called upon the officials of Airtel telecom to discuss the issues related with its network connectivity on July 19 but the latter did not pay any heed. He added that the calls were not responded to.
The union justified its action based on the ongoing online examinations of students who were made to undergo many hardships due to poor network connectivity.
T Yingnyu Mosa further requested the public to cooperate with the steps taken by the students’ union until the problem was resolved.
