Dimapur, June 10 (EMN): Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) has appealed the government to resume the construction of Doyang RCC Bridge which has been abandoned for over a year.
Lotha Students’ Union made this appeal during a joint meeting with the officials of Ralan Area Lotha Hoho (RALH) and Ralan Area Students’ Union (RASU) at Liphayan Governor’s camp on June 7. The joint meeting had discussed on the construction of Doyang RCC Bridge which was abandoned for over a year due to unknown reason.LSU president, Lipemo M Tsopoe and the finance secretary Yanthanthung Yanthan lamented that there was positive responds from the concerned contractor and authorities despite repeated appeals and representations.
The Union has further sought clarification from the concerned authorities for stalling the construction at the earliest.
