Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): Khulio King thrashed Skipper Young United FC 8-0 in the first match of the day in the ongoing 27th Loyem Memorial Trophy 2019 on October 21.
An update from the organisers informed that Longkoi scored four goals for Khulio King in the 12th, 15th, 26th and 28th minutes while Shurhosol scored two goals in the 22nd and 34th minutes. Kekhrie and Yamchan scored a goal apiece in the 49th and 57th minutes respectively.
In the second match of the day, DEF, Tuensang beat United FC 2-1.
Tangmong scored first for United through a free kick in the 16th minute. However, DEF took a lead with two quick goals from Yemjong and John in the 22nd and 25th minutes to seal the match.
Nyenshen FC’s management, players and fans cleaned Loyem Memorial Ground and its surrounding after the match in a bid to encourage Swaach Bharat Mission in the district.
