Speaker of the event, Rev. Prof. Woba James, professor Eastern Theological College, Jorhat, Assam, enlightened the congregation with the word of God.

He said many Christians have the patience to stand in queue for an hour or more for food during a community programme, but lack enthusiasm to listen to the words of God for an hour, reflecting human’s priority and patience on the physical needs rather than prioritising spiritual needs.
One of the highlights of the event was an enthralling choral presentation by a 100-member choir from Shajouba Baptist Church (Charanghomei) of MBC.

Rev. R.L. Tennyson, Pastor of Khabung Karong Baptist Church, de-hoisted the jubilee flag after the completion of the programme, which was followed by ‘gospel melody night’.
On Thursday, a day after the main event, a grand community service programme was held in honour of all women from the village married to other communities and areas, followed by a common feast for Koide Mathak and Koide Makha villages.
As many as 1347 delegates from three circles of Poumai Naga tribe and town churches under PNBA, and 25 ordained reverends attended the Platinum Jubilee-Cum-New Church Building Dedication programme.
