Lotha Football championship:  Vipers Club, NRSA progress to quarters

DIMAPUR —  Vipers Club and NRSA are through to the quarters finals of the ongoing Lotha Football championship organised by WDFA in Wokha.

NRSA defeated Friends Club by a solitary goal during the last league match played at local ground Wokha. Sulanthung found the net in the 6th minute through a free kick, taking his team, NRSA, to the quarter finals.

Vipers XI shocked Restoring Boys by beating them 3-1. Chumbenthung found the net twice in the 44th and 55th minute, while Thechamo scored in the 38th minute of the game. The lone goal for Restoring Boys came from Emmanuel.
