Lotha Football Championship: Restoring Boys, ERSA and XI Brothers register wins
DIMAPUR — Restoring Boys, XI Brothers and ERSA registered wins on the sixth day of the ongoing Lotha Football Championship (LFC), organised by the Wokha District Football Association (WDFA).
In the first match played at local ground, Wokha town, Restoring Boys defeated Young Brothers FC 5-1. Hatsabemo of Restoring Boys scored his fourth hat-trick in the tournament by finding the net in the 25th, 59th and 60th minutes of the game.
His teammates Chumben and Mhademo contributed a goal each.

The second match between defending champions XI Brothers and NRSA ended in a 1-1 draw in the first half. Saronbemo scored an early goal for XI Brothers in the 6th minute of the game, but Mhao scored the equaliser for NRSA in the last minute of the first half.
Both the teams found several opportunities to score in the second half of the match but failed to convert it. With the draw XI Brothers are through to the quarter finals with 10 points in Group-A.
In another close encounter match, Englan Range Sports Association (ERSA) defeated Tchyiro FC 2-1. Until the first half, Tchyiro were leading the game through an early goal from the boots of Sungchung. But ERSA came strong in the second half of the game and went on to win the match by 2-1. Tumbemo and Mhademo scored the winning goals for ERSA in the 62nd and 68th minutes.
