Losami Students’ Union holds 62nd General Session at Losami

KOHIMA — The Losami Students’ Union (LSU) convened its 62nd General Session, coinciding with the 77th General Conference of the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU), on February 2 at Losami, under the theme ‘Embracing unity in the midst of cultural chaos’.

Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor for New and Renewable Energy and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), was the session’s special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, he challenged the students to strive for greater excellence and encouraged them to maintain a positive attitude and contribute to social well-being.

Losami Village Council Chairman Zechete Mekrisuh addressed the gathering, offering words of encouragement, while Khrolhiweu Tsuhah, former president of Chizami Students’ Union, extended greetings.

LSU president Menelo Mebou delivered the presidential address, and its general secretary, Webeko Akami, highlighted the activities of the union.

The session was chaired by Dr. Pfopelou Kepfoh and compered by Chekhoweu Akami and Wehiwu Mekrisuh.
