DIMAPUR — The district administration and District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Longleng, will be having a week-long campaign of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) in celebration of National Girl Child Day from January 21 to 26.
In this context, a marathon race is scheduled to take place in Longleng town on January 22, according to a DIPR report, which also mentioned that the ward president (youth) is urged to facilitate the participation of five girls from their respective wards, aged between 14 and 18 years, in the event.
