DIMAPUR — The office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Longleng, under National Centre for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC), is observing anti-malaria month on the theme “Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement.”

A press release from CMO office informed that awareness activities are being carrying out in all the blocks under Longleng district by a team led by DVBO, Dr. L Tia Imchen, along with district consultant, malaria inspector (MI), malaria technical supervisor (MTS), surveillance worker (SW), surveillance inspector (SI), and ASHA.

It stated that during the anti-malaria month, healthcare officials would interact with stakeholders and villagers and create awareness on signs and symptoms, preventive measures, correct and daily usage of long lasting insecticide nets (LLIN), availability of free testing and free treatment in all health facilities and also collection of blood samples.
