Longleng DPDB to award deserving officers, staff

DIMAPUR — The monthly meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Longleng, for the month of August was held at DPDB hall on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman of DPDB Longleng, W Manpai Phom.

In his address, the DC acknowledged all the heads of offices for their initiative and support during the recently concluded All Nagaland Taekwondo Championships, a DIPR report stated.

Phom also felicitated the medallists and the winners of the recently concluded badminton tournament held in Chümoukedima and the Khelo India Cluster Football Tournament in Tuensang.

After the review of previous meeting minutes, some of the agendas discussed included district award initiated by the DPDB for deserving officers and staff under Longleng district and Teachers' Day awards to motivate and encourage the teachers

The Department of Sericulture presented the departmental activities in the meeting through PowerPoint.

The presentation for the next DPDB meeting was assigned to the Department of Assistance Register of Cooperative Society.
