Longleng DPDB meeting held

The Longleng district planning and development board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting at the DPDB hall, Longleng, on Saturday.

DIMAPUR — The Longleng district planning and development board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting at the DPDB hall, Longleng, on Saturday. ADC Tamlu, Neilezo Tep, presided over the meeting.

The meeting began with a review of the previous meeting's minutes, during which discussions centred on the proposal submitted by the CMO Longleng to upgrade the Tangha sub-centre to a primary health centre (PHC). Additionally, departments were urged to submit their nominees for the district awards before August 8.

An update on the progress of the Retro Signage project was presented by the SDO (civil).

Anuo Longho, Longleng's child development project officer, used a PowerPoint presentation to highlight departmental activities, while the Department of Public Works (R&B) was tasked with presenting their activities in the subsequent meeting.
