Longleng DC asks officers to be at their posting place

Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Longleng Deputy Commissioner, John Tsulise Sangtam on Sep 19 urged the officers to be in their place of posting and appealed for coordination of all the Government departments and officers for effective implementation of various schemes and projects in the district and caters to the needs of the people.

Longleng District Planning & Development Board Meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commission John Tsulise Sangtam on 19th of Sept. 2018 at DC’s conference hall, Longleng.

Informing that a central team from Delhi will be visiting the district in the coming months, the DC asked the Heads of Departments (HoDs) not to leave their place of posting without prior permission from the administration.

A DIPR news update informed that the DC, Tsulise Sangtam was speaking at the monthly District Planning & Development Board meeting which was held under his chairmanship at the DC’s conference hall.

Asserted that local officers should be a guiding force to lead other officers posted in the district in the right perspectives, the DC urged them to be sincere and responsible in their assigned duties.

He also apprised the board to provide all information and departments’ activities including both positive and negative aspects to the visiting EAC on probation at their respective office. Sangtam also informed that he had apprised the commissioner and the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority to provide sufficient relief for damaged of fields and properties during the current monsoon. John also congratulated that team of doctors and medical profession lead by Dr. Imnameren DIO & DPO Longleng for successfully completing all the activities as per the norms and guidelines as furnished in the micro planning, the DIPR stated.

Meanwhile, the board recommended the proposal of the DPRO Longleng for creation of new APRO office at Tamlu ADC headquarter and Information Centre at Sakshi EAC headquarter.

“The DPRO apprised the members that the existing administrative headquarters in the sub-division was functioning without APRO or Information Assistant in the district,” stated the report. The DPRO pointed out about the requirement of information centres under administrative headquarters to disseminate the day to day activities of the government to the people.

DR. Imnameren DIO & DPO Longleng gave a power point presentation on Micro Planning for Measles & Rubella Vaccination campaign in the district while the CMO Longleng apprised the members to provide all necessary support and cooperation during the MR Vaccination campaign in the district to ensure 100% coverage. He further appealed to the members to disseminate the importance of MR vaccination to their friend and community, the DIPR stated.
