DIMAPUR — A culvert at kilometer 58 of National Highway 202, situated between Longkhim and Mangaki, has been washed away, rendering the road impassable.

In response, the Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang issued a travel advisory on Sunday, announcing the road's closure for restoration until further notice.

Travellers from Tuensang to Kohima are advised to take the Tuensang-Yangli-Zunheboto-Kohima route. Those travelling to Mokokchung can choose between the Tuensang-Yangli-Suruhoto-Longsa route or the Tuensang-Changtongya-Mokokchung route.

Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner has restricted the movement of heavy vehicles along the Tuensang-Longleng road.
