Dimapur, May 10 (EMN): The two candidates for the Lok Sabha by-election – Tokheho Yepthomi of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party and C Apok Jami of the Naga Peoples Front – filed their nomination papers at the commissioner’s office in Kohima on Thursday, according to a DIPR report.
“The Commissioner, Nagaland & RO for By-Election to the Lok Sabha, 2018, Motsuthung Patton, IAS assisted by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Hq) & ARO, Limanenla examined the necessary documents furnished by the candidates while the General Observer, Dr. J Ravi Shankar, IAS who has been deployed to the Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency for the Bye -election observed the filing proceedings,” it informed.
