Logdrum Higher Secondary School annual sports meet concludes

Dimapur, March 7 (EMN): The 14^th annual games and sports meet of Logdrum Higher Secondary School (LHSS) Sangtamtilla that began on March 5 concluded on Saturday, March 7 in the school football ground. A press release from the school headmistress stated that the opening ceremony was attended by Grace Wangnao, Block Development Officer (BDO), Dhansiripar Block, Dimapur as the special guest.

Wangnao in her address pointed on the importance of co-curricular activities and how education is incomplete without it. She also made important reference to empowerment of a girl child in the field of sports.

Wangnao later unfurled the flag and inspected the march-past contingent which was followed by drill display.

The oath taking ceremony was lead by the school co-ordinator Okito Yeptho.
