Naga Bowl Express wins India’s most prominent food and hospitality awards

Dimapur, Jan. 7 (EMN): A Dimapur-based restaurant ‘Naga Bowl Express’ was awarded ‘Most Admired Traditional Naga Cuisine Restaurant in Nagaland’ by the Merit Awards and Market Research Private Limited.

The award is given in recognition of excellence and outstanding work showcased by food and hospitality professionals in India.

India’s Most Prominent Food & Hospitality Awards 2020 ceremony was virtually held in New Delhi on November 21 last. The virtual award was attended by chief guest and jurists including Sanjeev Kapoor – an Indian celebrity chef, entrepreneur and television personality for the show Khana Khazana, Vicky Ratnani – an Indian chef who also had written a cookbook called Vicky goes non-veg, and Kunal Kapoor – an Indian celebrity chef and restaurateur known for hosting and judging Master Chef India, an update stated.

It stated that a small thanksgiving programme was held on January 7 at Naga Bowl Express restaurant with Rev. Lima Jamir, pastor of Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo.

Speaking at the event, Rev. Lima termed it as a proud moment for the Nagas as its cuisine has been recognised at national level through the work of Alemjungla Jamir, the proprietor of Naga Bowl Express, ‘who took every opportunity to showcase and promote Naga food on all platforms’.

Meanwhile, Alemjungla Jamir has thanked team Naga Bowl for their unwavering dedication, the customers and well-wishers for their support throughout the two-year journey of Naga Bowl Express.
